Justine is in top 5% of her class with a GPA of 95.24. She has been accepted to attend Bowdoin college and Boston college. She will attend Bowdoin college with an undeclared major. she is the daughter of James and Maxine Pouravelis.
A three-sport athlete for the "Lions," Justine participated in Cross Country, basketball (captain), and Spring Track. Though successful in each of those sports she is most noted for basketball prowess. A career shooting average of over 50% from the floor and the foul line, Justine received several basketball honors including SMAA (league) All-Star team for all four years, and All-State for her last three years. She saw her teams advance from winning few games at the beginning of her high school career to winning a state championship her senior year. "She respects and appreciates every player's contributions to the team no matter how small or how great."
Justine is a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, Varsity Club, and Ambassadors Club. She is the recipient of the Williams Book Award, Lamp of Learning Pin, and the President's Academic Award for Excellence. "She is not only admired and respected for her outstanding academic and athletic achievements, but also for her remarkable, genuine respect for her peers and the faculty."

The Maine Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1972 for the purpose of: 1) appointing and bestowing recognition awards and scholarships to outstanding Maine high school scholar-athletes; and, 2) to formally honor and memorialize Maine athletes and sports figures who have brought distinction and honor to the state of Maine.
