As a freshman Tim started the Thanksgiving Day game at Defensive Tackle. In his sophomore year he hurt his knee in the first Deering game and was out for 5 games. The football team went 8-0 in the regular season and lost in the second round playoff game.

In his senior year Portland High School defeated Edward Little High School of Auburn for the State Class A Championship. He received awards for his achievements as follows:

  • Charles Sanders Award (Unsung Hero Award) Portland vs. Deering
  • Vinnie Allen Award (Thanksgiving Day Game)
  • Dave Allen Award (Western Class A Coaches Out-Standing Lineman Award)
  • All Conference Defensive Tackle
  • All State Offensive Tackle
  • In the Trench Award (Out-Standing Portland High School Lineman)

Timothy also is a camp counselor for a football camp during the summer months.
