A four-sport performer at Bangor Christian Schools, Brandon Wilcox has participated in soccer, cross country, basketball, and baseball in his four-year career. He played varsity soccer for the Patriots for four seasons and was a team captain in both his junior and senior year. A three-time Penobscot Valley Conference All-Star in soccer, he was the league's Player of the Year in 2009. During that same season, Brandon was selected to the Class D Eastern Maine All-Star Team and All-State Team. Brandon also earned Class D state Player of the Year honors in leading Bangor Christian to the state championship.
Brandon has also earned four varsity letters in basketball and has served as a team captain. He was named to the PVC All-Defensive Team in his senior year and was twice selected for the conference All-Academic squad. Brandon has also played three years on the Patriot baseball team and was a captain during his senior year. He has also earned his team's Most Improved Player award.
In addition to his athletic pursuits, Brandon has also participated in an impressive array of activities. He was class president for four years and has served in student government at his school. He was inducted into the National Honor Society as a junior and has been the co-president of the school's Bible Study group. Brandon also has been active in the fine arts and has been a member of the chorus for four years and the drama program for three years. He has earned significant academic recogntion, including the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Awards and the Principal's Leadership Award.
Brandon has a career average of 94.72 and ranks fifth in his class of 23. He has narrowed his college choices to Lancaster Bible College and Baptist Bible College and intends to major in youth ministry. He is the son of Aaron and Charlotte Wilcox and resides in Alton.

The Maine Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1972 for the purpose of: 1) appointing and bestowing recognition awards and scholarships to outstanding Maine high school scholar-athletes; and, 2) to formally honor and memorialize Maine athletes and sports figures who have brought distinction and honor to the state of Maine.
