Five incredible Maine high school student-athletes have been named winners of $5,000 scholarships from the Maine Sports Hall of Fame. This year's winners are:
Marshall Addy of Medomak Valley High was a standout in football and wrestling for the Panthers, in addition to track and field. Marshall will be attending the University of Maine this fall.
Brooke Boone of Yarmouth High School was a member of the soccer, skiing, and lacrosse teams, and helped the Clippers win multiple State Titles in skiing and soccer. She will be attending the University of Denver this fall.
Danielle Emerson from Biddeford High School was varsity captain in both volleyball and lacrosse and helped lead the Tigers to a State championship title. Danielle will be attending Plymouth State University in the fall.
Carter Libby of Gray-New Gloucester was a member of the Patriots Cross Country and Basketball State Championship teams, in addition to the outdoor track team. He will be attending the University of Maine in the fall and participating in cross country.
Addyson Thibodeau of Bonny Eagle High School was Captain and standout in both Cross Country and Indoor/Outdoor Track for the Scots. She will be attending Marist College in the fall and participating in track.

The Maine Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1972 for the purpose of: 1) appointing and bestowing recognition awards and scholarships to outstanding Maine high school scholar-athletes; and, 2) to formally honor and memorialize Maine athletes and sports figures who have brought distinction and honor to the state of Maine.
